Anambra kidnap cases

According to reports, unidentified gunmen in Anambra State have abducted an unidentified man, the first kidnapping case the state has seen in November.

The kidnapping incident was reported to have taken place at approximately 6:47 p.m. on Sunday in the Alor community within the State's Idemili South Local Government Area.

The victim was allegedly cruising in a car that was left on the side of the road when his kidnappers stormed in, as evidenced by a video that is currently trending on social media.

As seen in the video, the car with the license plate EKY-102GK also has bloodstains on various areas of it, which some onlookers in the background claimed were the victim's blood.

Before the kidnappers sped off with the victim to an unidentified location, the unnamed witnesses also reported that the victim was seriously hurt and bundled into the boot of their car.

The Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ikenga Tochukwu, has not yet responded to the message of inquiry sent to him as of the time of publication, so the reporter Izunna Okafor's attempts to get him to confirm or respond to the incident were unsuccessful.
