HIGHLIGHTS: AC Milan vs Liverpool - UEFA Champions League [FT 1-3]

In their opening Champions League game of the season, Liverpool traveled to Italy this evening to play AC Milan. 

The Reds' incredible start to the season was severely halted on Saturday when they lost 1-0 at home to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. Tonight, the Dutchman will be looking to get his team back on track.

The previous season, the Reds failed to make it into Europe's top division and lost to eventual champions Atalanta in the quarterfinals of the Europa League. This year, the players, manager, and supporters will all be hoping for a prolonged run in the competition, but there are conflicting indications as to whether Liverpool can coast into the knockout stages.
