CARABAO CUP: Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man united all enter 3rd round [See Full Draw]

Following several exciting second round ties this week, the Carabao Cup welcomes the remaining Premier League teams to the third round draw.

Liverpool will host West Ham United in the third round of the Carabao Cup.  The Reds, holders of the trophy after last season's win over Chelsea in the final, were paired with their fellow Premier League club during Wednesday night's draw.  The tie is scheduled to be played at Anfield in the week commencing September 23.


Liverpool, looking to defend the trophy they won last season under Jurgen Klopp, will be joined by Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Aston Villa.

Liverpool will host West Ham United in the third round of the Carabao Cup.

The Reds, who won the trophy from their victory over Chelsea in the championship game the previous season, were drawn against another Premier League team on Wednesday night.

The tie is scheduled to be played at Anfield in the week commencing September 23.

The first cup competition of this season is heating up with a number of intriguing matchups and the potential for upsets as lower-league teams vie for a spot in the fourth round.

There were big wins for Brighton, Everton and Crystal Palace in the last round, while Watford continued their perfect start to the season, beating Plymouth following three successive league wins to sit joint-top of the Championship.
